- Additional HandlingA surcharge applied for heavy or large packages, or certain packaging types.
- DDPDelivered Duty Paid. Seller is responsible for duties/taxes on international shipments.
- DDUDelivered Duty Unpaid. Buyer pays duties/taxes on delivery.
- Declared ValueThe value stated for customs or carrier liability; not the same as insurance coverage.
- Dimensional Weight (DIM)A pricing weight based on package volume using a divisor (e.g., 139). Billed weight is the greater of DIM and actual weight.
- GirthLength + 2 × (width + height). Used by carriers to determine size limits and surcharges.
- IncotermsInternational commercial terms defining responsibilities for shipping, insurance, and duties.
- IOSSImport One‑Stop Shop. EU VAT solution for low‑value goods shipped to EU consumers.
- ZoneA distance band from the origin ZIP. Higher zones typically mean higher cost and longer transit.
