  • Additional Handling
    A surcharge applied for heavy or large packages, or certain packaging types.
  • DDP
    Delivered Duty Paid. Seller is responsible for duties/taxes on international shipments.
  • DDU
    Delivered Duty Unpaid. Buyer pays duties/taxes on delivery.
  • Declared Value
    The value stated for customs or carrier liability; not the same as insurance coverage.
  • Dimensional Weight (DIM)
    A pricing weight based on package volume using a divisor (e.g., 139). Billed weight is the greater of DIM and actual weight.
  • Girth
    Length + 2 × (width + height). Used by carriers to determine size limits and surcharges.
  • Incoterms
    International commercial terms defining responsibilities for shipping, insurance, and duties.
  • IOSS
    Import One‑Stop Shop. EU VAT solution for low‑value goods shipped to EU consumers.
  • Zone
    A distance band from the origin ZIP. Higher zones typically mean higher cost and longer transit.
